Short Description:

Everbuild B2 Handheld Fire Foam is a quick setting one part polyurethane foam with fire resistance properties. The foam expands on application 1.5 - 2 times its original volume.  Fire rated up to 2 hours in certain joint configurations. Once cured, the foam can be cut, sawn or plastered over after only one hour providing the working temperatures (can and surfaces) are between +5oC to +25oC, ideally 20oC.

Firefoam B2 Handheld is a quick setting fire rated, one part polyurethane foam in a ready to use hand held canister. Fire resistant for up to 2 hours in certain joint configurations. It expands on application to up to 50 times the can contents and meets the requirements of the test criteria for BS 476 Part 20. 

▪ High degree of fire rating: slows down the passage of flames and smoke in comparison to standard B3 grades.
▪ Quick setting - can be cut, sawn or plastered in 1 hour.
▪ Economical in use - expands up to 50 times its can volume.
Fills irregular and broad gaps where most conventional fillers would fail.
▪ Possesses insulating and sound deadening properties.

Packaging 750ml Aerosol
Shelf Life 12 months in original containers at stated storage temperatures.
Storage Conditions Store upright between 20oC and 25oC Pressurized container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50oC. Do not pierce or burn the can even after use. Store as flammable liquid.
                                 Note: Elevated temperatures will reduce shelf life dramatically.

Tensile Strength 7N/cm2 (DIN 53430)
Shear Strength 8N/cm2 (DIN 53422)
Cutting Time 20 mins to 1 hour depending on bead dimensions.
